Kathey S. Carlson

Kathey was a member of the Jamestown Little Theater, and enjoyed reading, music, singing and the company of her many friends. She also enjoyed studying scripture and regular prayer.

Surviving is her son, Erik (Bonnie) Coulter of Ashville; two granddaughters: Taren and Peyton; two brothers: Robert R. Carlson of Portland, Ore., and Kenneth R. Buck of Falconer; and a sister, Lois Carlson of Frewsburg.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1997, her mother in 1976; and a sister, Carol Dallas in 1996.

Kathey will be remembered as a generous and caring person. She will be missed as a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Kathey had a contagious laugh that she would share with anyone freely. Even in the worst situations Kathey would always see the bright side of things, she would make sure to help you see the bright side as well. There was never a time that she put herself before those that she cared about and loved.

Kathey will not be missed but instead remembered. She would not want her passing mourned but rather her life celebrated.

A memorial service will be held Sept. 4, at 6 p.m. in the recreation room at 303 W. Fifth St. in Jamestown N.Y.

Memorials may be donated to the Chautauqua County Humane Society.
