Melissa Kristen Navarro and Matthew Thomas McCheskey exchanged wedding vows on June 30, 2012, in a 1940s theme aboard the USS Little Rock located in the Naval Park in Buffalo, N.Y. The Rev. Jacob Welling performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Raymond and Natalie Navarro of Mayville, N.Y., and the granddaughter of Nancy Navarro of Mayville, N.Y. and the late Raymond F. Navarro and Fae and Joseph Koshute. Her husband is the son of Jeff and Judy McCheskey of Jamestown, N.Y., and the grandson of Michael McCheskey and the late Marge McCheskey and Velma and Ralph Darrow.
The bride wore a vintage 1940s union-made three-tiered dress with a sweetheart bodice and lace detailing.

Vanessa Byerly was matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Amanda Jones. Bridesmen were Jerry Hopkins and Raymond Navarro II, brother of the bride. Feather girl was Isabella McCheskey, daughter of the couple.
Best man was Justin McCheskey, brother of the groom. Groomswomen were Ava Jargen and Lori Knaps.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Chautauqua Lake Central School and a 2007 graduate of Jamestown Community College. She is employed by the engineering and architectural firm of T.Y. Lin International as an administrative assistant. Her husband is a 2001 graduate of Maple Grove High School and is pursuing a degree in history at the University at Buffalo. He is employed by Sterling Bank Services as a technician.
They are living in Buffalo, N.Y.
