Alec and Maureen Pinterpe of Buffalo, N.Y. announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa, to William Bean, the son of Scott Bean and Mary Lou Bean of Ashville, N.Y.
Miss Pinterpe is a graduate of Niagara University, and is employed by the Buffalo Convention Center. Her fiance attended Niagara University and is attending Erie Community College.
An Oct. 6, 2012, wedding is planned.
