Megan A. Zaffalon and Keith J. Mackowiak exchanged wedding vows on Jan. 5, 2012, aboard a Venetian gondola in Las Vegas.
The bride is the daughter of Gary and Denise Zaffalon of Dunkirk, N.Y. Her husband is the son of David and Judy Mackowiak of Dunkirk, N.Y.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Dunkirk High School, received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the State University at Fredonia, and her master's degree in student personnel administration at Buffalo State College and a master's degree in counselor education from St. Bonaventure University. She is employed as the assistant director of financial aid at the State University of Fredonia. Her husband is a 2000 graduate of Fredonia High School, earned an associates degree in business management from Jamestown Community and is pursuing a degree in in public accountancy at the State University at Fredonia. He is employed as a staff accountant at Johnson, Mackowiak & Associates, LLC.
