SINCLAIRVILLE - A Sinclairville man is in Chautauqua County Jail after police say he sexually abused a 2-year-old child.
Chautauqua County Sheriff's investigators say Robert B. Calvey, 67, of 3109 Old Chautauqua Road, Lot 56 at Hillside Estates in Sinclairville had sexual contact with a 2-year-old female on the morning of Aug. 8.
After a joint investigation was conducted by the district attorney's office, Child Protective Services and the sheriff's department, an arrest warrant for Calvey was issued by Kevin Sirwatka, Gerry town justice, and he was charged with first-degree sexual abuse.

Calvey was apprehended without incident at his residence Friday and taken to county jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 property bond.
