JAMESTOWN POLICE

A 16-year-old male was charged with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration at 11:01 p.m. Wednesday. According to a police report, the youth, who was wanted on outstanding warrants, led officers on a short foot pursuit. He was charged and taken to the city jail in lieu of bail.

SALAMANCA POLICE

SALAMANCA - Yancy A. Dowdy, 25, of Salamanca, was charged with disorderly conduct at 3:31 p.m. Tuesday. He will be in court later.

SALAMANCA - Jesse S. John, 23, of Salamanca, was charged with disorderly conduct at 3:39 p.m. Tuesday. He will be in court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

MAYVILLE - Nathaniel D. Hollins Jr., 21, of Silver Creek, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal tampering and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration at 9:22 a.m. Wednesday. According to a police report, Hollins, while incarcerated in the Chautauqua County Jail, damaged two smoke detector heads in a housing unit. He will appear in court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

RANDOLPH - Harvey L. Shaffer, 41, of Russell, Pa., was charged with fourth-degree stalking at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday. He will be in court later.

POLAND - Judy K. Bascom, 53, of Kennedy, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. She was held pending further action.

ARKWRIGHT - Rebecca D. Kramer, 22, of Fredonia, was charged with torturing, injuring, or not feeding an animal, abandonment of a disabled animal and second-degree criminal trespassing at 9:05 p.m. Wednesday. She will be in court later.

Ryan R. Rodriguez, 20, of Irving, was charged with a seat belt violation, DWI and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent at 11:24 a.m. Wednesday. He will be in court later.
