Jamie B. Butts, 31, of 138 Prospect St., Jamestown, died unexpectedly Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, in his home.
He was born July 8, 1981, in Jamestown the son of Robin Weber Van Guilder and Shawn Butts.
Jamie was a 1999 graduate of Jamestown High School. He enjoyed all outdoor activities, including fishing and hiking, and he loved spending time with his daughters. He also enjoyed playing his guitar, especially at the Frog on Sundays.

Surviving are his father Shawn of Jamestown; mother Robin and step father, David Van Guilder of Jamestown; two daughters: Ariona Spencer of Jamestown, and MacKenzie Hebner of Falconer; a brother, Brandyn Weber (Ashley Harrison) of Jamestown; a nephew, Jeremy Michael Weber of James-town; and his girlfriend, Jamie Dorman and her daughter, Arriona of James-town.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jeremy Butts; and his grandparents.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
