Tea Party To Hold Meeting

Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots will hold its monthly general meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Lakewood American Legion, 174 Chautauqua Ave., Lakewood. Instructions will be given for "get out the vote" actions in Chautauqua County. Along with other group business, election signs will be provided to members for distribution around the county. The public is invited to attend STTPP meetings.

Lakewood Legion To Host Music

LAKEWOOD - Lakewood Legion will be hosting music by Blood, Bourbon, and Beer on Friday from 7 to 10 p.m. Dinner specials will be available.

Karaoke Event Set For Tonight

Star Sirch Productions will provide karaoke for the Downtown Jamestown Development Corporation and the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce's Riverwalk Concert Series from 7 to 9 p.m. today along the riverwalk, adjacent to the JAMA Riverwalk Center. Falconer Park Event Is Thursday

FALCONER - The Falconer Rotary Club will hold a ribbon cutting and grand re-opening of Falconer Park at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. The event will be combined with the club's annual chicken barbecue, which costs $8. The Falconer Key Club will sell desserts at the barbecue with the Harmony Express barbershop chorus providing entertainment. The public is welcome to attend.

Bemus Point Board To Meet

The Bemus Point Central School Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the board room at Maple Grove Junior-Senior High School. The public is welcome to attend.

Astronomers To Gather Tonight

The Southern Tier Astronomy Recreation Society's telescopes will be at Ellery Town Park tonight from 9 to 10:30 p.m. The best views of the ringed planet Saturn in close conjunction with Mars and thin crescent moon will be earlier in the night. Ellery Town Park is located at the intersection of Route 430 and Dutch Hollow Road in Greenhurst.

Cancer Benefit Set For Monday

A cancer relief benefit will be held for Shawn Sischo on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Intermezzo Restaurant in the Chautauqua Institution. The dinner cost $20 with 100 percent donated to the Sischo family. Tickets are available at M&T Bank in Mayville, the Intermezzo Restaurant or Feegan's Witch Kitch. A basket drawing will be held from 7:30 to 9 p.m. with tickets costing two for $5 or 50 for $10. For more information, call 357-2058 or email rachael@thestag ger.com.

IDA To Meet Monday Morning

The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency board will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the IDA offices, 200 Harrison St., Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.
