JAMESTOWN POLICE
Kristin L. Raymond, 29, of Jamestown, was charged with disobeying a traffic control device, having no/improper signals, DWI and driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or more at 2:55 a.m. Monday. According to a police report, a car being driven by Raymond was seen making an illegal left turn onto Foote Avenue. She will be in court later.
David D. Meabon, 27, of Cherry Creek, was charged with moving unsafely from a lane, DWI and aggravated DWI at 2:56 a.m. Monday. According to a police report, Meabon was involved in a motor vehicle accident and had gone off the road, hitting a fence near Lake View Cemetery. Officers report finding Meabon passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle. He was taken to the Jamestown City Jail and will be in court later.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE
LAKEWOOD - Susan K. Scarantino of Randolph was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and second-degree obstruction of governmental administration at 6:20 p.m. Sunday. According to a police report, officers responded to Wal-Mart in Lakewood for a reported shoplifter. Scarantino was arraigned and taken to the Chautauqua County jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 property bond. Lakewood-Busti officers were assisted by Ellicott police officers.
LAKEWOOD - Patricia J. Bargy, 53, of Sinclairville, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. According to a police report, an investigation found Bargy stole more than $1,000 worth of items from Wal-Mart in Lakewood. She was arraigned and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 property. Lakewood-Busti officers were assisted by Ellicott police officers.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
HANOVER - Amy L. Kaplan, 22, of Lackawanna was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 11:25 p.m. Sunday. According to a police report, deputies responded to a report of a disorderly patient at Lakeshore Hospital. When officers arrived, Kaplan became aggressive and damaged property within the hospital. She was arraigned and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
COLD SPRING - Kirk L. Sterling, 27, of Cattaraugus, was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI with a child less than 15 years of age in the vehicle, aggravated DWI with a blood-alcohol content of .18 percent or higher and leaving the scene of a property damage accident at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. He will be in court later.
