Edna Mae Williams, 87, formerly of Cambridge Warren, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, at Warren Manor.
Mrs. Williams was born Jan. 3, 1925, in Dunkirk, N.Y., the daughter of the late George and Hazel Brown Ernst.
Edna was a graduate of Little Valley High School, she then attended James-town Business Institute. Edna was always taking a craft class, and her family often received her crafts as gifts. She was a huge an-imal lover, and especially loved when her son, James, would bring his dogs to visit.

She is survived by her son, James Hice and wife, Odette, Dunkirk, N.Y.; her daughter, Karen Mazzu, and husband, Tom, Russell, Pa., and her son, Eugene Williams, and wife, Amy, Olean, N.Y.; two grandchil-dren: Daniel Hice and Jen-nifer Knisley; three great-grandchildren, Richard and Jacob Knisley and Whitney Hice; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ebenezer Williams, whom she married Jan. 14, 1955, in Bradford, Pa.; and two brothers: Edwin and George Ernst.
Friends will be received at the Peterson - Blick Fun-eral Home Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Thurs-day, Aug. 23, for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held there on Thursday, Aug. 23, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Dave Heckman, pastor, Russell United Methodist Church, officiat-ing.
Burial will be in the Lit-tle Valley Rural Cemetery.
