GERRY - James E. Kahle, 64 of Gerry died Sun., Aug. 19, 2012, at home.
Born Nov. 10, 1947, in Jamestown, son of the late Don and Vera Schilling Kahle. A Chautauqua County resident most of his life he was an alumni of Jamestown schools.
A veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, he served as a ser-geant in the United States Marines.

He was employed for over 35 years at Blackstone/Valeo, retiring in 2007.
Jim was a "home body" who enjoyed working on his home, spending time with his dog and most of all, loved being with fami-ly, especially his grandchil-dren.
Husband of 44 years to Mary Ann Frye Kahle, who he married January 23, 1968; father of James (Cathy) Kahle Jr. of Gerry and Kristina (Sean) Kahle-LeBarron of Forest-ville; grandfather of Ethan and Alex Kahle and Ka-telyn and Kyle LeBarron; brother of Bruce Kahle and Sandra Cordova both of Randolph, Geraldine Sard of Panama and the late Ruth Mattocks, Doris Ramakers, Maxine Rick-etts, John and Don Kahle. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday in Jordan Fun-eral Home, Sinclairville. Visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Tues-day. Burial will be in the Gerry Cemetery.
