Co-Op To Hold Agriculture Event
PORTLAND - Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County and the Lake Erie Region Grape Program is holding a meeting for the Lake Erie Women in Agriculture group on Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The meeting, focusing on employee management, will be held at the CLEREL facility, located at 6592 West Main Road, Portland. Thomas Maloney, M.P.S., Cornell University, will present on the "Ten Things Your Employees Expect from you." Panama Board To Meet Monday
PANAMA - The Panama Central School Board of Education will hold its scheduled board meeting Monday at 7 p.m. in the board room. This meeting is open to the public.
Preschool Spots Remain Open
WESTFIELD - Apple Seed Christian Preschool has a few openings left for the 2012-13 school year. Three-year-old class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. beginning Sept. 11. Class Reunion Set For Friday
RANDOLPH - Randolph Central School, class of 1962, will hold its 50th reunion at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24 in the Randolph Community Center. A tour of the high school will be at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, followed by dinner at 6 p.m. in the Randolph American Legion and music. All alumni are welcome. Women's Club Plans Italy Trip
The Chautauqua Women's Club is planning an eight-night tour to Italy for Sept. 24, 2013. On Tuesday from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. a travel information session will be held at the Chautauqua Women's Clubhouse. Light refreshments will be served and the itinerary will be discussed. Music In The Park Continues
SOUTH DAYTON - Music in the Park will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the South Dayton Village Park gazebo. Featured will be the 23 Skidoo Dixieland Band. This summer music program is sponsored by the town of Dayton and Villenova, the village of South Dayton and the New York State council of the Arts Decentralization Regrant Program, administered by the Cattaraugus Arts council. Those attending should take a lawn chair.
