JAMESTOWN POLICE

Jessica L. Mcadoo, 19, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny at 3:01 p.m. Tuesday. According to a police report, officers were notified that there was a shoplifter in custody at the Dollar General on Washington Street. Mcadoo reportedly placed merchandise in her purse and attempted to leave the store without paying. She was taken to the city jail without incident and will appear in court later.

Christopher P. Brown, 41, of Bemus Point, was charged with failure to keep right, speeding, having unsafe tires, more than one sticker, driving an uninspected motor vehicle, refusal to take a breath test and DWI at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to a police report, Brown was seen speeding and failing to keep right on Jones and Gifford Avenue. When police turned around to stop the vehicle, it fled at an unknown speed until stopping on Hall Avenue. Brown was charged and will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court. He will appear at a DMV hearing at a later date.

Steven R. Patterson, 40, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree falsely reporting an incident and unnecessary noise at 11:29 p.m. Tuesday. According to a police report, Patterson contacted the JPD stating he had a gun and was going to kill someone. Officers quickly located him near N. Main and 10th streets, yelling loudly. He told officers that he had made up the story and never had a gun. Patterson was taken to the city jail where he is awaiting arraignment on the charges.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

STOCKTON - Brooks A. Winton, 28, of Stockton, was charged with second-degree harassment at 5:40 p.m. Sunday and will appear in court later.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

FREEDOM - Robert C. Cirbus, 42, of Farmersville, was taken into custody on a bench warrant out of Orchard Park after being stopped on Route 98 for failing to keep right. Upon arrest, he consented to a search of his vehicle at which time deputies located a small amount of marijuana. Cirbus was additionally charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and was issued an appearance ticket for the charge. He was then turned over to Orchard Park Police to answer the warrant.

YORKSHIRE - Sandra L. Giordano, 46, of Delevan, was charged with aggravated DWI and DWI at 10 p.m. on Aug. 8. According to a police report, Giordano was charged after passing through a checkpoint and showing several indications that she was intoxicated. She will be in court later.

PERRYSBURG - Naomi T. John, 33, of Perrysburg, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, not having a child restraint and having no front license plate at 4:30 p.m. Sunday. According to a police report, Sheriff's patrol responded to a report of a domestic incident where a vehicle was being stolen. The vehicle was located travelling on Eaton Road and John admitted to being involved in a physical dispute in front of her two young children. She also admitted to stealing the car and leaving the scene. A check revealed that her driving privileges were revoked. She is currently being held in lieu of $500 bail.

ALLEGANY -Juwan T.R. Plaud, 18, of Allegany, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 9:30 p.m. Saturday. According to a police report, Plaud allegedly damaged the vehicle of another person. He is scheduled to appear in court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

SHERMAN - Hayden A. Haynes, 29, of Steamburg, was charged with trespassing at 8 p.m. on July 6.

ELLICOTT - Mathew C. Walczak, 18, of Kennedy, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.

CARROLL - Stephanie K. Short, 22, of Frewsburg, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 10 p.m. Monday. She was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.

ELLICOTT - Kyle D. Elderkin, 19, of Frewsburg, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.

ELLICOTT - James T. Albro, 18, of Kennedy, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.

RIPLEY - Robert Gibbs, 63, of Ripley, was charged with second-degree harassment at 6 p.m. on July 30.

STOCKTON - Josh A. Moore, 32, of Mayville, was charged with petit larceny at 10:23 p.m. Monday. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.

PORTLAND - Marcus D. Reed, 23, of Westfield, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 10:10 p.m. Monday.

CONEWANGO - Joshua A. Whitacre, 19, Monique R. Cantrell, 21, and Dean M. Walters, 21, were all charged with petit larceny on Aug. 7. Whitacre and Walters, both of Randolph, were issued appearance tickets for the charge. Cantrell, of Conewango, was held on cash bail.

CONCORD - Nicholas T. Gannon, 18, of Amherst, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 10:40 p.m. on Aug. 7. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.
