Police Ask For Information About Man Found On North Main Street

Jamestown police officers are looking for information about an incident that left a man lying in the middle of North Main Street at 2:29 a.m. Sunday.

According to a police report, officers were called to the railroad underpass on North Main Street. A 22-year-old man was found lying in the street with a head injury. He was taken to WCA Hospital and then transferred to the Erie County Medical Center for treatment.

Police are asking anyone with information about how the man was hurt or who may have seen the incident to call the Jamestown Police Department at 483-7537 or the department's TIPS line at 483-847. All calls will be kept confidential.
