Five Star To Hold Grand Opening
Five Star Urgent Care's facility in Jamestown has undergone a $500,000 renovation in an expansion project that nearly doubled the center's size. To celebrate the grand opening of the enhanced facility, Five Star Urgent Care is hosting an open houses for the general public from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Five Star Urgent Care is located in the Riverwalk Center, 15 S. Main St., Suite 270.

Seat Check Set
BUSTI - A child passenger safety seat check will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at the Busti Fire Department during Busti Days. The check is intended to educate parents and caregivers in proper selection and installation of car seats. Officers will be assisting in ensuring that proper seats are installed for the safety of the children. There will be no enforcement activity at the event.
Busti Concert Series Continues
BUSTI - The Busti Gazebo Concert Series will feature the Country Roads Duo from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Busti Gazebo, next to the Busti Fire Hall. The public is welcome to attend. Anyone attending should bring a lawn chair for seating. The concert is sponsored by the Busti Hamlet Development Association, Busti Fire Department and Chautauqua Region Community Foundation. The Jamestown Police Department and the governor's Traffic Safety Committee, in conjunction with Shults Ford Lincoln will hold a child safety seat checkpoint today from 4 to 6 p.m. inside the service department at Shults Ford Lincoln, 2273 Washington St., Jamestown. Officers will have child safety seats on hand to replace old or recalled seats.
Observatory Tour Set For Tuesday
FREWSBURG - The Martz Observatory will be presenting a program at Myers Memorial Library on Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Martz Observatory volunteers will talk about the observatory, telescope and the sun, among other things. Anybody who would like to travel to the observatory afterward will be given a tour of the facility and possibly look through one or more of the telescopes after dark if it is clear. POLAND - Chautauqua County Bridge No. 937 on County Route 325 in the town of Poland between state Route 394 and state Route 62 is now open.
Falconer Class Of 1967 To Meet
Falconer Class of 1967 will hold its 45th class reunion on Aug. 17-18 at the home of Henry & Jo Ann Barton Moyer, 1879 Buffalo St. Extension, Jamestown. The celebration will start with a mixer on Friday at 5 p.m. and a continue with a picnic on Saturday at noon. Anyone interested in attending can call Jo Ann at 484-1160.
