FREWSBURG?-?The Myers Memorial Library will host a Chinese auction on Aug. 16.
Ten prizes have been donated by patrons and local businesses. The drawing will be held in the library at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, at the end of the library's summer reading program.
The prizes with number are the following:
Number 1 - 42-inch purple and sunflower tablecloth, two potholders and tablerunner;
Number 2 Four placemats, napkins and napkin rings;
Number 3 - set of three scarves;
Number 4 - Swan painting by William Inglesby;
Number 5 - $25 gift certificate to The Cycle Shop;
Number 6 - "May blessings follow you" floral plaque;
Number 7 - blue flannel baby crib-size quilt;
Number 8 - The Corner Coffeehouse gift certificate for two entrees;
Number 9 - Three bracelets from The Bead Shack; and
Number 10 - necklace, bracelet, and earring set from The Bead Shack.
Anyone interested can view the items and buy tickets during library hours from 1 to 8 p.m. Mondays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays; 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays and 2 to 5 p.m. Fridays.
