Illa Mae Stuart

Illa Mae Stuart, 81, of Hardscrabble Road, Randolph, passed away Friday (Aug 3, 2012), in St. Vincent's Hospital, Erie, Pa.

She was born May 26, 1931, in Emelton, Pa., the daughter of the late Theodore and Anna Black Travis.

Illa was a 1948 graduate of Wesley High School. She was a member of the Jamestown Audubon Society, Young at Heart and Falconer Bible Study, Randolph Garden Club, Falconer Community Artist and Chautauqua Artists, Falconer and Fluvanna Greeting Card clubs and Camera Club.

She enjoyed photography, painting, quilting, scrapbooking, arts and crafts, flower arranging and gardening.

Surviving are her husband, Lewis D. Stuart, whom she married Nov, 18, 1950, in Rimersburg, Pa.; a loving and caring mother of five children: Linda (David) Swanson of Jamestown, Nancy Stuart of Charleston, S.C., Patricia Stuart of Clearwater, Fla., Randal (Dawn) Stuart of Gerry, and Charles (Tina) Stuart of Gerry; seven grandchildren: Tammy Day, Justin Swanson, Stefan Adelhardt, Sadie Stuart, Gibson Stuart, Cole Stuart and Cooper Stuart; two brothers: William Travis and Frederick Travis both of Grove City, Pa.; and two sisters: Ruth Himes of Mercer, Pa., and Lorraine McPeak of Grove City, Pa.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and David Travis; two sisters: Louise Rohrig and Marie Callender.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Pastor Rick Beck of Faith Bible Church, Randolph will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Falconer.

Friends will be received by the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the funeral service Wednesday in the funeral home.

Memorials may be donated to the Faith Bible Church, Randolph, N.Y.
