JAMESTOWN POLICE
Jose A. Figueroa of Jamestown was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and blood circulation, and endangering the welfare of a child at 7:22 p.m. Monday. According to a police report, officers were dispatched to 85 Hazzard St. for a violent domestic incident in progress. Officers arrived on scene at spoke with the victim inside the residence. Figueroa allegedly choked the victim and endangered the welfare of a child in the process. He was taken to the city jail without incident where he is awaiting arraignment.
ELLICOTT POLICE
John P. Lundquist, 55, of Jamestown was charged with theft of services July 24. According to a police report, the BPU was servicing electrical meters in the Celoron area when a worker came across an electrical meter that had been tampered with. Upon investigation, Lundquist was arrested on the above charge and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail on $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 property bond.
Sam L. Critzer, 25, of Falconer was charged with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana Saturday. According to a police report, officers were called to 235 Elmwood Ave. in Falconer for a domestic dispute. Upon further investigation, Critzer was found to be in possession of 13 marijuana plants. He is scheduled to appear in court later.
Michael J. Williams, 53, of Jamestown was charged with fifth-degree welfare fraud and second-degree criminal use of a public benefit card Friday. According to a police report, a doctor's office in West Ellicott reported that a patient was attempting to pay for his medical treatment with a NYS benefit card that did not belong to him. The subject, identified as Williams, was taken into custody without incident and charged with the above crimes. He was released with an appearance ticket to be in court later.
Blaine B. Dunn, 27, of Falconer was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment Sunday. According to a police report, on June 19, officers were dispatched to 1895 Delaware Ave. in Falconer for a report of a domestic dispute with a possible firearm involved. It was learned that Dunn had discharged a shotgun into the air and reportedly fled the scene. A warrant was issued and Dunn was located at his residence on Sunday and taken into custody without incident. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail pending bail recommendation.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
MAYVILLE - Michael Harris, 43, of Buffalo was charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Additionally, Nathan A. Kohler, 25, of Forestville; John A. Bish, 46, of Jamestown; and Patrick T. Raynor, 45, of Jamestown, were charged with second-degree promoting prison contraband. According to a police report, during recent routine shakedowns at the Chautauqua County Jail, Harris was found to be in possession of tobacco and matches, Kohler had seven Gabapentin pills, chewing tobacco and homemade wine, Bish had tramadol, Gabapentin pills and homemade wine, and Raynor had Cataflam pills and homemade wine. All four subjects will appear in court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA - Angela M. Kellogg, 21, of Stockton was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday. According to a police report, Kellogg allegedly called and sent a threatening text message to a town of Chautauqua resident. She was issued an appearance ticket and will be in court later.
HARMONY - Robert L. Tordella, 50, of Ashville was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI per se at 10:45 p.m. Friday. According to a police report, deputies were investigating an alleged incident in the town of Harmony when Tordella drove up to their location. He was interviewed and found to be intoxicated. He was subsequently charged with DWI and following the original investigation, additionally charged with the remainder of the crimes. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $500 bail. He will be in court later. Deputies were assisted by Lakewood-Busti Police.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
NAPOLI - Shana R. Workman, 38, of Kennedy was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to maintain lane at 11:10 p.m. Friday. She will be in court later.
COLDSPRING - Major D. Stearns, 20, of Frewsburg was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 8 p.m. Sunday. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in court later. A 17-year-old male was also arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana during the same stop and will be in court later.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
ELLICOTT - Amanda N. Holmes, 21, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 11:35 p.m. Monday. She was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.
COLD SPRING - Francisco J. Cerda-Esquivel, 32, of Chicago was charged with a federal misdemeanor at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. He was released to a third party.
RANDOLPH - John M. Akers, 20, of Randolph was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 7:08 p.m. Sunday. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.
POLAND - Michael J. Wilcox, 40, of Kennedy was charged with third-degree menacing at 12:08 a.m. Monday. Cash bail was set at $1,000.
MINA - A 16-year-old male was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon at 9:50 a.m. Sunday. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.
MINA - Brendon L. Messinger, 20, of North East, Pa., was charged with false impersonation, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana at 9:58 a.m. Sunday. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charges.
RANDOLPH - John M. Akers, 20, of Randolph was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, petit larceny and second-degree harassment at 7:03 p.m. Sunday. Akers was held pending further action.
DUNKIRK - A 17-year-old male was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment at 1 p.m. Sunday.
POMFRET - Jason D. White, 32, of Fredonia, was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon at 2:40 a.m. Monday.
SHERIDAN - Michael P. Fiebelkorn, 61, of Dunkirk, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 percent and driving while intoxicated at 6:22 p.m. Sunday. He was released to a third party.
