Mark and Louise Conroy of Panama, N.Y. announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica, to William Guenthner, the son of Thomas and Maxine Guenthner of Oak Park, Ill.
Miss Conroy is a graduate of Panama Central School, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in geology from the College of Wooster and a doctorate in geosciences from the University of Arizona. She is employed as a National Science Foundation postdoctoral fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology. Her fiance is a graduate of Oak Park-River Forest High School, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in geology from Carleton College and is pursuing his doctorate in geosciences at the University of Arizona.
A June 15, 2013, wedding is planned.
