JAMESTOWN POLICE
Hakeem T. Jabbar, 22, of Buffalo, was charged with false impersonation and unlawful possession of marijuana at 11:55 a.m. Thursday. According to a police report, officers spoke with a male who gave them a false name while on patrol for a suspicious person in the area of East Sixth and Fulton streets. The male was identified as Jabbar who was wanted for felony robbery charges out of the town of Tonawanda. He was taken to the Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
PORTVILLE - Rachel Y. Slawiak, 21, of Portville, was taken into custody at 5:30 Tuesday on an arrest warrant stemming from an incident that occurred on July 16. She was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. Slawiak was arraigned and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail on $2,500 bail. She will be back in court later.
LITTLE VALLEY - Jeffrey Ruper, 38, of Cattaraugus, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, aggravated felony DWI with a BAC of .18 percent or higher, having an unregistered all-terrain vehicle, operating an ATV on a public highway and numerous other vehicle and traffic violations at 9:58 Tuesday. Deputies saw Ruper driving his ATV in front of the Sheriff's Office in Little Valley. When they stopped Ruper, he was found to be intoxicated. Ruper will be in court later.
ELLICOTTVILLE - Nathan C. Roblee, 23, of Great Valley, turned himself in at the Ellicottville Village Court on an arrest warrant for third-degree assault at 7 p.m. Tuesday. He was released by the court to return later.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
CHERRY CREEK - Brian S. McGonagle, 19, of Cherry Creek, was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.
