Ice Cream Social Set For Friday
CASSADAGA - The Cassadaga Community Baptist Church, 25 Maple Ave., Cassadaga, will hold an ice cream social from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Music will be provided by the Sprague family. The public is welcome to attend.
County Parks Group To Meet
The Chautauqua County Parks Commission will meet at 7 p.m. today at Chautauqua County Airport in Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.
Chicken Dinner Set For Saturday
The Emmanuel Baptist Church, 53 W. 23rd St., Jamestown, will hold a fried chicken dinner from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday. The dinner includes a half-chicken, potato salad, green beans, roll and dessert. Takeouts are available. The cost is $8 per dinner.
Defensive Driving Course Scheduled
A five-hour pre-licensing and defensive driving course is set for Saturday at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Lakewood, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Instructed by Aadvance Driver Training staff, seating is limited per DMV guidelines. Live Concert In Mayville Tonight
Ken Hardley and the Henways will perform a live concert at Lakeside Park in Mayville tonight from 6:30 to 8:30. The band will also play at the Bullfrog Hotel, 1414 E. Second St., Jamestown, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday. Hardley will perform solo acts Friday at the Farmers Market on Third Street in Jamestown from noon to 1 p.m. and Saturday at Steener's Pub on Route 430 in Greenhurst from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Soil And Water District To Meet
The Chautauqua County Soil and Water Conservation District will meet at 10 a.m. Friday in the district's tent at the Chautauqua County Fair. The public is welcome to attend.
Restoring Liberty Rally To Be Held
CELORON - TARA will host a Restoring Liberty rally from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday in Lucille Ball Memorial Park, Dunham Avenue, Celoron. There will be speakers, music, food, information and a chance to sign the Liberty Bus. Anyone attending should bring lawn chairs for seating.
