JAMESTOWN POLICE
Michael A. Woodard of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, false impersonation and second-degree harassment at 6:16 p.m. Monday. According to a police report, officers went to the area of Family Video and 10 W. Sixth St. for a report of a domestic incident in progress. It was found that Woodard had slapped a victim and violated a valid order of protection. Upon initial contact, Woodard also gave officers a false name. When officers attempted to place Woodard in custody, he became combative and attempted to run away but was subdued and taken to the Jamestown City Jail where he is being held pending arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
HANOVER - Brian L. Malczewski, 37, of West Seneca, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while using a cell phone, felony driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI per se at 7 p.m. Sunday. According to a police report, deputies stopped Malczewski when he was seen allegedly using his cell phone while driving. After further investigation, it is alleged that he was intoxicated. He was taken into custody and later released to appear in court later.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
SHERMAN - Craig J. Myeroff, 21, of Akron, Ohio, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charge and will be in court later.
