Veteran Benefit Discussion Set

Steve McCord, Cattaraugus County Veterans Service Agency director and Kevin Haynes, the office's service officer, will be available to discuss Veterans Administration benefit laws, health care system or other veterans' concerns at several Cattaraugus County sites in August. They include: 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Aug. 3, at the Gowanda American Legion; 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the Randolph American Legion; 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at The Pines in Machias; and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, at the Franklinville Town Clerk's office. McCord is also available in the Little Valley County Office building from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursdays. Olean office hours are 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except legal holidays. County IDA To Meet Thursday

DUNKIRK - The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency board will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday at the State University at Fredonia Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk. The public is welcome to attend.

Dinner Theater Events Set

The New Beginning Fellowship Church, 1427 Warren-Jamestown Boulevard, Jamestown, will host a dinner theater at 6 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. There is no charge to attend, but a donation will be accepted. For more information, call 488-9338.

Sewer District Group To Meet

CELORON - The South and Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer Districts finance committee will meet at 2 p.m. today in the Water Pollution Control Facility, Celoron. The public is welcome to attend.

Vacation Bible School Days Set

KENNEDY - The Clark's Corners Community Church, 1 Gospel Lane, Kennedy, will host the vacation Bible school ''Sky'' from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 6 through Aug. 10. Children attending will explore God's boundless love for his children. Classes are available for preschool children ages 3 and 4 through sixth grades. There is no charge to attend. Meet Wednesday

The Jamestown Urban Renewal Agency will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the mayor's conference room on the fourth floor of the Jamestown Municipal Building. The public is welcome to attend.

Outreach Center Taking Donations

The Community Outreach Center located at First Lutheran Church, corner of Chandler and Center Streets in Jamestown, is accepting slightly used, clean, children and adults clothing and small miscellaneous household items. Donations may be dropped off at the store located on the third floor. The store is open from 10 am to 3 pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
