Margaret A. Lindquist, 88, of 300 East Main St. Falconer formerly of 1468 Route 394, Falconer, passed away Thursday (July 19, 2012) in the Luth-eran Home and Rehabilita-tion Center.
She was the widow of R. Hubert Lindquist whom she married June 19, 1948 in Levant Wesleyan Church, who died December 8, 2003.
A lifelong area resident she was born Oct. 27, 1923 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Allen E. and Ju-lia A. Treadway Arnold.

Margaret was a 1942 gra-duate of Frewsburg High School and also graduated from Jamestown Business College. In earlier years she was employed by the former Art Metal Corpora-tion and for most of her life had been a homemaker.
Margaret attended Levant Wesleyan Church and Falconer United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Town of Poland Senior Citizens having served as treasurer for several years. Margaret was also a member of the Jabbering Jills Society of the former Art Metal Cor-poration. She enjoyed gar-dening, taking care of her home, daily crossword puz-zles, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was very proud of their accomplish-ments.
Surviving are three chil-dren: Cheryl A. (Thomas) Madison of Chesapeake, VA, Raymond A. (Janice) Lindquist, Robert E. (Rhonda) Lindquist all of Falconer; six grandchil-dren: John T. (Carri) Madis-on of Port Allegany, Pa., Benjamin A. (Jenn) Lind-quist of Falconer, Kelly M. (Bill) Pappas of Atlanta, Ga., Nathaniel D. (Brooke)Lindquist of Phi-ladelphia, Pa., Michael W. (Kelly) Madison of Burke, Va., Maxwell L. Lindquist of Falconer; and five great grandchildren: Lily S. Madison, Madeleine K. Pappas, Liam M. Pappas, Branston J. Lindquist and Kennedy R. Lindquist.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by two brothers: Alonzo and John Arnold and a sister Hazel Arnold.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday in the Falcon-er Funeral Home. Pastor J. T. Madison, her grandson who is pastor of the Port Allegany Evangelical Covenant Church, will offi-ciate. Burial will be in Ma-ple Grove Cemetery, Frews-burg.
Friends will be received by the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
Memorials may be donated to the Falconer Fire Department or the Ken-nedy Fire Department.
