Library To Hold Activity Time
BEMUS POINT -The Bemus Point Library will hold a story and activity time from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Wednesday. The story time is open to children between the ages of 2 and 5 and their caregivers. Songs, stories, crafts and a snack are provided. For more information, call 386-2274.
Leon Property Owners To Meet
LEON - Leon taxpayers will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Leon Historical Society Church. Any property owners not satisfied with their property assessment or the results of their Board of Assessment Review grievance should attend to be informed on the next steps available in the grievance process.
Federal Workers To Meet Friday
The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association Chapter 267 will meet at 11 a.m. Friday at Friendly's Restaurant in Brooklyn Square, Jamestown. The group will hear a report on the New York Federation convention held in May and discussion of resolutions to be considered at the national convention in August. A new incentive award from NARFE will be discussed, as well as a membership program. All current and retired federal employees are invited to attend.
Online Safety Course Offered
Protecting Your Child Online, a one-hour class to help parents keep their children safe on the Internet, will be offered at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the James Prendergast Library, 509 Cherry St., Jamestown. Topics include social media such as Facebook, cyber bullying and online privacy. For information or registration, call 484-7135. A story time for school-age children is available while parents attend the class, which is also available Aug. 1.
TOPS 721 To Hold Weigh-In
TOPS 721 Jamestown will have a weigh-in only Thursday at 610 West Seventh St., Jamestown, due to church function at the group's usual meeting place at Kidder United Methodist Church, 385 S. Main St., Jamestown. The change is only for Thursday's meeting.

Antique Show Set For Weekend
WESTFIELD - The 74th annual Westfield Antique Show will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Eason Hall, 23 Elm St., Westfield. The event will feature over 20 different dealers from five different states and a wide variety of antiques, including glassware, china, furniture, artwork and much more.
