TOPS NY 721 Jamestown will hold weigh-in only Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at 610 W. Seventh St., due to a church function in the Kidder Memorial United Methodist Church.
Twenty-seven members attended a meeting on July 12. Best losers were Pat Smith, TOPS, and Diane Anderson, TOPS. Bob Lawson received free dues. Prize winners were Sylvia Johnson and Alice Walker. Sylvia Johnson, the punch card winner, and Ms. Anderson, presented a program on gluten-free foods. The thought was to be honest about why you eat. It is a huge opportunity for awareness and growth.
A weight loss of over 13 pounds was recorded when 27 weighed in on July 5 . Best losers were Mary Dooley, TOPS, and Jan Eckberg, KOPS. Cindy Williams received free dues. Other prize winners were Sylvia Johnson, Barb Linza and Cecelia Brisley. Donna Borst gave the regional director's annual presentation.
