JAMESTOWN POLICE
Orvall Elliott III, 60, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. According to a police report, officers were called to Walgreens located at 10 Prospect St. for a shoplifter in custody. Officers learned Elliott entered the store and stole two cans of beer. He was taken to the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE
LAKEWOOD - Dayanara Ocasio, 19, of Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny on Monday. According to a police report, Ocasio, along with two other people, stole $185.87 worth of merchandise from Walmart in Lakewood. She will be in court later.
Michael R. Battko, 27, of Warren, Pa., was charged with DWI and failure to keep right at 7:29 p.m. Saturday. According to a police report, officers pulled over a vehicle being driven by Battko for a vehicle and traffic violation. Battko was found to be intoxicated and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail on $2,500 cash bail.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
KIANTONE - Ronald M. Yachetta, 20, of Jamestown, was charged with discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling at 9 p.m. Thursday. According to a police report, deputies responded to the Prosser Hill Road area for a complaint someone was possibly shooting at a deer from the road. Deputies found a man walking along the road. During the investigation, two men were questioned before Yachetta was charged. He will be in court later.
SHERMAN - Luke M. Fraley, 23, of Spring Creek, Pa., was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI common law and several traffic violations at 12 a.m. Monday. He was arraigned in the Sherman Town Court where he posted bail and was released to return to court later.
PORTLAND - David C. Bobik, 27, of Fredonia, was charged with third-degree criminal trespassing and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property at 2:39 p.m. Monday. According to a police report, an investigation revealed he had entered a residence without the owner's permission and stolen a .223 caliber AR-15 rifle. He will be in court later.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
JoMarie L. Nagel, 36, of Jamestown, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent and DWI at 2:55 a.m. Friday. She will be in court later.
KIANTONE - Juan R. Pinto, 27, of Buffalo, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 12:52 a.m. Friday. He will be in court later.
PORTLAND - Adam J. Neubauer, 22, of Sheridan, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent and DWI at 4:07 p.m. Thursday. He will be in court later.
SHERIDAN - Dustin A. Newbree, 20, of Fredonia, and a 16-year-old from Rincon, Ga., were both charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 9:30 p.m. and issued appearance tickets. They will be in court later.
SHERMAN - Jessica L. Szatkowski, 25, of Alden, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and issued an appearance ticket. She will be in court later.
CHERRY CREEK - A 17-year-old girl from South Dayton was charged with second-degree harassment at 11:46 a.m. Friday and issued an appearance ticket. She will be in court later.
BEMUS POINT - Cody R. Hinson, 23, of Greenhurst, was charged with third-degree assault at 2:26 p.m. Friday and issued an appearance ticket. He will be in court later.
GERRY - Leonard A. Parsons, 50, of Sinclairville, was charged with petit larceny at 3:53 p.m. Friday and issued an appearance ticket. He will be in court later.
COLD SPRING - Wilbert O. Bascom III, 26, of Warren, Pa., was charged with second-degree harassment at 12:40 p.m. on July 10 and issued an appearance ticket. He will be in court later.
DUNKIRK - Clifford S. Dowdy, 34, of Fredonia, was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation at 3:10 p.m. Friday. He is being held pending further action.
COLLINS - Maurice F. Lane, 47, incarcerated at the Gowanda Correctional Facility, was charged with second-degree assault, first-degree possession of dangerous contraband in prison and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon at 2:19 p.m. Friday. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charges and will be in court later.
COLLINS - Dangelo Allen, 34, incarcerated at the Gowanda Correctional Facility, was charged with assault while confined in a correctional facility at 10:52 a.m. He will be in court later.
CARROLL - David A. Bemis, 43, of Lakewood, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent and DWI at 4:10 p.m. Saturday. He will be in court later.
