Forte, The Restaurant, has received a Community Pride Award from the Jamestown Community Chamber of Commerce.

"It's the people. The relationships we've fostered over the years have made this business special. I love food and people,'' said Peggy Kaltenmeier, owner of Forte The Restaurant at 114 E. Third St., in Jamestown.

Ms. Kaltenmeier worked for the previous owner for just over a year, and then took over ownership of the restaurant in October 2006.
