Bob and Evelyn Clark of Heritage Village Retirement Campus, formerly of North Chili, N.Y., celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on July 7, 2012, with a dinner party at the Gerry Free Methodist Church fellowship hall. The celebration was hosted by their children: Bob Clark, Sharon Griffin, Renee Watson, and granddaughter, Teresa Pfendler. They have 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Clark and the former Evelyn Hancock met at Roberts Wesleyan College, and were married July 1, 1947, at the Free Methodist Church in Apollo, Pa. The late Rev. Ralph Page performed the ceremony.
They were very active in the Free Methodist churches in Greece, N.Y., and North Chili, N.Y., and are member of the Gerry Free Methodist Church.
