Michael and Karen McAndrew of Jamestown, N.Y. announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Lee, to Cory Raymond Askew, the son of Sue and Scott Hagstrom of Madison, Ohio, and David and Cheryl Askew of Dandridge, Tenn. Miss McAndrew is also the granddaughter of James and Lillian Beasley of Jamestown, N.Y., and Alice McAndrew of Durham, N.C. Her fiance is the grandson of Joan Arndt of Geneva, Ohio
Miss McAndrew is a 2001 graduate of Jamestown High School and a 2009 graduate of Buffalo State College with both a Bachelor of Science and a master's degree in education. She is employed by the Falk School in Buffalo, N.Y.
Her fiance is a 2000 graduate of Madison High School in Madison, Ohio. He is employed by Solar Liberty in Buffalo, N.Y.
An Aug. 25, 2012, wedding is planned.
