SC United Under-12 Girls Win Wilson Tournament Title

WILSON - The SC United Under-12 girls won four games, including a 10-2 championship victory over the Tonawanda Outlaws, in the 21st annual Wilson Soccer Tournament last weekend.

Adrianna Carlson tallied four goals and Alicia Rensel three while Macey Lundmark, Allie Stockwell and Grace Osborne had one each in the rout of the Outlaws.

Mackenzie Swanson was the goalie for the winners.

SC United won the Under-12 Girls Division of the 21st annual Wilson Tournament. In front is Mackenzie Swanson. SC United began with a 3-2 win over Niagara/Pioneer, S.C. as it came back from a 2-0 deficit to win.

Carlson scored the first two goals and Lundmark had the game-winner.

Swanson had several spectacular plays in goal in the win.

Game two on Saturday was another 3-2 win over the Hamburg Monarchs.

Carlson scored twice to put SC ahead, 2-0, but Hamburg tallied twice in the second half for a 2-2 deadlock.

Then Rensel broke the tie assisted by Carlson.

Once again, Swanson was outstanding in net.

On Sunday, SC United recorded a 3-1 victory over the Wilson Breakers.

Carlson tallied the first goal assisted by Rensel, Lundmark had the second one and Rensel the third.

Swanson was in the goal again.
