A Randolph woman is dead and another seriously injured following a one-car motor vehicle accident on Tuesday.
Anastasia C. Mosher, 29, of Randolph was traveling North on West Perimeter Road when the car she was driving veered off the east shoulder of the road due to an unknown cause. The vehicle then struck a telephone pole before careening down an embankment.
A passenger in the vehicle, Taylor Darcy, 27, was flown by Starflight to Hamot Medical Center in Erie with possible internal injuries. Mosher was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office was assisted by New York State Police, Coldspring Fire Department and Randolph Fire Department at the scene. The investigation in to the accident is ongoing.
