Peter Indriolo, 84, of 107 Weeks St., Jamestown, N.Y., died at 4:51 p.m. Sun-day (July 8, 2012), in the Lutheran Home and Reha-bilitation Center.
He was born in Aquadol-ci, Sicily, on Feb. 9, 1928, the son of Guisseppe and Teresa Scafitti Indriolo.
Peter was employed by the Laborers Union 600 for 20 years, retiring in 1990. In earlier years, he was the owner of George's Tavern in Brooklyn Square.

He was a communicant of Holy Apostles St. John Catholic Church.
Peter was a loving nano and adored his grandchil-dren. He was an avid reader and enjoyed discussing books with his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie Calanni In-driolo, whom he married on Sept. 26, 1953, in Aquadol-ci, Sicily; a son, Joseph (Ju-lie) Indriolo; two daughters: Mary and An-toinette Indriolo, James-town; eight grandchildren: Amy Adamiszyn, Katie and Lori Indriolo, Las Vegas, Nev., Lindsay, Meaghan and Andrew Stronz and Emily and Elizabeth In-driolo, all of Jamestown; two brothers: Anthony In-driolo, Pleasantview, N.Y. and Joseph (Rosaria) In-driolo, Mt. Vernon, N.Y.; and a sister Maria Callan-dra, Aquadolci, Sicily.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Salvatore In-driolo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in Holy Apostles St. John Catholic Church. The Rev. Dennis Mende, pastor, will be cele-brant.
Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.. in the Hu-bert Funeral Home And Cremation Services where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 1:45 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, Tn. 38148-0142.
