Rowland Reunion Is Saturday
Ancestors of Coon, Rod or William will meet for the Rowland Reunion at noon Saturday, in Falconer Park pavilion three. Those attending should take a dish to pass, their table service and a beverage.
North Harmony Seniors To Hold Lawn Sale
North Harmony Senior Citizens will hold a lawn sale for Stow Day at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Also featured will be crafts, baked goods, a sweet-treat booth, lunch items and basket raffle. Bill and Carol Adamson, Phyllis Huling and Steve and Loretta Saulsgiver, who will provide the birthday cake, are the committee. Sixty-seven members attended the recent annual spaghetti dinner meeting. Bonnie Johnson, Anita and Earl Ferry, Harriet, John and Adrian Smith were the committee. Laura Palmer provided the birthday cake for Harriet Smith, Steve Saulsgiver, Bill Adamson and Tom Lozier. Dan and Kathy Kelly celebrated their wedding anniversary. Reports by the secretary and treasurer were approved as read. Committee chairman presented their reports. Discussion was on Stow Day. Jim Roselle was the guest speaker. Gordy Saulsgiver closed the meeting with prayer.
Ladies Aid Meets, Plans Ice Cream Social
The Kiantone Congregational Church ladies aid met recently for a picnic lunch, attended by 14 members. Cindy Hothkiss gave the blessing and presided at the meeting. Reports given by Barbara Kost, secretary, and Joan Spontaneo, treasurer, were approved as read. Correspondence included letters from Amy Miller, of Alaska, and Leatha Humes, of Pennsylvania. Mrs. Spontaneo gave the flower and card fund report. Discussion was on the future ice cream social, to be held the second Tuesday in August. Ms. Hothkiss closed the meeting with prayer.
