EAST OTTO, N.Y. - Richard ''Dick'' M. Bridges, 52, of East Otto, N.Y., passed away Thurs-day, July 5, 2012, in Cheektowaga, N.Y.
He was born Oct. 7, 1959, in Gowanda, N.Y., the son of Richard (Penny) Bridges of Gowanda, N.Y., and the late Gale (Jacobs) Bailey.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cathie (Hintz) Bridges, whom he has been together with for 35 years.
Besides his wife and fa-ther, he is survived by two sons: Bradley Bridges of West Valley, N.Y., and Ryan Bridges of East Otto; his stepfather, Robert Bai-ley of Georgia; a brother, Corey Bridges of Hamburg, N.Y.; a sister, Deborah Bridges of Florida; a step-brother, John Bailey of Georgia; two stepsisters: Tina Pierce of Olean, N.Y., and Marcia Reese of Geor-gia; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 411 Rock City St., Lit-tle Valley, N.Y., on Friday, July 13, 2012, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at 11 a.m. from the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the East Otto Volunteer Fire Department.
