Bennie A. and Nellie Ditonto Sr. of Lakewood celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner party at La Scala Restaurant. The celebration was hosted by their children and their families: Ben Jr. and Sandra Ditonto of Warren, Pa., and Guy A. and Ellen Ditonto of Jamestown. They also have six grandchildren. Out of state guest attended from Pennsylvania.
Ditonto and the former Nellie Scala were married June 28, 1952, in St. John Roman Catholic Church, Jamestown. Father Bellario performed the ceremony.
Ditonto retired from Dowcraft in 1987. Mrs. Ditonto had been employed by Jones Tasty Baking.
