FREDONIA - DFT Communications/Netsync sustained a major Internet service interruption, affecting hundreds of its customers today for more than 3 hours.
Company officials believe the interruption was caused by a major fiber cut around 12:30 p.m. in the Buffalo area.
DFT technical crews were dispatched to Buffalo to help find and repair the fiber damage.
Verizon wireless customers are also experiencing problems as a result of the damage
Most services were back up and running shortly before 4:30 p.m.
