Jamestown Police investigators are seeking the public's assistance after a woman allegedly stole the cash box from the Scott's Farm produce stand in broad daylight Thursday.
It was reported that a white female approached the stand on Foote Avenue at Barker Street at 2:05 p.m. after parking her white, smaller-cab pickup truck with a blue stripe on the side. The woman then asked for assistance starting the truck. An employee at the stand reportedly went over to the truck to assist and when she returned back to the stand discovered that the cash box was missing.
The suspect is described as a white female in her 20s with facial piercings. The truck also reportedly had a child seated inside when the employee approached.
Anyone who knows who the female may be or somebody who owns a white pickup truck with a blue stripe down the side is asked to contact the Jamestown Police Department at 483-7537 or leave an anonymous tip on the tip line at 483-TIPS. All call will be kept strictly confidential.
