Ella M. "Ellie" Jose, 52, of Swanson Road, James-town, passed away Tuesday (July 3, 2012) in WCA Hos-pital.
A lifelong area resident, she was born Nov. 18, 1959 in Jamestown, the daughter of Melvin and Barbara Johnson Elleman.
Ellie was a 1977 gradu-ate of Maple Grove Central School and Jamestown Business College. In ear-lier years, Ellie was em-ployed by Falconer Plate Glass as a sales representa-tive and for 19 years for Cummins Engine.

She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and Al-tar and Rosary Society of OLL. She also participated in teaching Sunday School Education for 18 years. El-lie enjoyed attending the Jamestown Little Theater, sewing and quilting and at-tending classic rock con-certs.
Surviving are her hus-band, Richard J. Jose, whom she married July 8, 1978 in First Lutheran Church; a daughter, Carlie M. Jose of Jamestown; a son, Kyle R. Jose of James-town; her parents, Melvin and Barbara Elleman of Gerry; and two brothers, Richard Milliman of Fal-coner and Randy Elleman of Greenhurst.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Carl and Dorothy Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Daniel S. Rumfelt chaplain of Luth-eran Home and Rehab Center will officiate.
Friends will be received by the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. The "Wake" is to follow the ceremony at the Falconer Moose Club located on Dow Street in Falconer, N.Y.
Memorials may be donated to the Jamestown Little Theater or Chautau-qua County Humane So-ciety.
