Audrey S. Johnson

Audrey S. Johnson, 85, of 184 Aldren Ave., former-ly of the Big Tree-Sugar Grove Road, died at 6:17 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 in WCA Hospital.

She was born October 12, 1926 in Sagertown, Pa., a daughter of the late Leslie and Glista Snyder South-worth, and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1944.

In earlier years, she had been employed by the former Jamestown Tele-phone Co. and retired as secretary to the president of the Dahlstrom Manufactur-ing Corp.

Audrey was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Ashville Home Bureau and League of Women Voters, and was an RSVP volunteer.

She is survived by three grandchildren: Marc (Lara) Baker of Columbus, GA, Bryan Baker of Lutz, FL and Stephanie (Lanny) Schirmer of Cape Coral, FL; three great-grandsons: Gary Banks and twins, Liam and Landon Schirm-er; a son-in-law, David Baker of Cape Coral, FL; four step-children: Jack Johnson of New Port Richey, FL, Thomas D. (Rosalie) Johnson of James-town, Dianne Johnson of Dawsonville, GA and Bar-bara Jean (Steve) Strickland of Jamestown; nine step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.

Audrey was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Keifer, second hus-band, Richard E. Anderson and third husband, Milton A. Johnson, whom she mar-ried Dec. 22, 1972 and who died Jan. 3, 2007; a daughter, Lynn Baker, who died in 2009; three broth-ers, Keith, Donald and Dale Southworth; and two sis-ters, Thelma Doolittle and Anita 'Bonnie' Frederick.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald E. Ray will of-ficiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 509 Prendergast Ave., Jamestown, N.Y. 14701; or the Lutheran Social Ser-vices Foundation, 715 Fal-coner St., Jamestown, N.Y. 14701.
