Man Charged Following Frewsburg Home Invasion

FREWSBURG - One man was taken into custody following a home invasion incident Monday night.

Daniel K. Fluent was charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief and several uniform traffic citations at 11 p.m. Monday.

According to a police report, Fluent unlawfully entered a residence at 173 North Pearl St. by damaging the front door to the locked residence. Once inside the residence, Fluent grabbed the person in the house by the neck. A short time after the burglary, he was found by members of the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office and New York State Police.

Fluent was identified, charged and arraigned in Carroll Town Court. He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail. More charges are pending.
