LAKEWOOD - A large wooden boat housed in Lakewood for several years was destroyed by fire Monday.
The Lakewood-Busti Police Department is looking for information regarding those responsible for the destruction of the large wooden playground boat that sat across from the boat launch at the Lakewood Community Park.
The large boat was donated to the village by Molly Browns and has been a part of the Community Park for several years.
The boat was set on fire in the early afternoon and was destroyed. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lakewood-Busti Police Department at 763-9563.
