HANOVER - A 13-year-old youth suffered serious injuries in a dirt bike accident Saturday in the town of Hanover.
Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies responded to an accident on Southerland Road. The youth had been driving the dirt bike around his yard when he lost control, fell off the bike and was injured. He was wearing a helmet when the crash occurred.
The victim was transported by ambulance to Lakeshore Hospital before being flown by helicopter to Children's Hospital.
