SALAMANCA - As part of the 2012 "Summer Rush" concert series, Lonestar will make a stop in Salamanca during its 20th anniversary tour on Saturday, July 14, at Seneca Allegany Events Center. Trace Adkins will deliver a concert at the same venue Sunday, Aug. 26.
Tickets to the Lonestar show, which will begin at 7 p.m., start at $35. The band's hits include "Amazed," "I'm Already There" and "Mr. Mom." The multi-platinum country music quartet is reunited with original lead singer Richie McDonald and also is in the process of making a new, self-produced album. Lonestar has earned 10 No. 1 country hits, the 1999 ACM Single of the Year and Song of the Year for "Amazed," and the 2001 CMA Vocal Group of the Year award.
In the 15 years since his platinum debut, Adkins has released 10 studio albums, three greatest hits packages and 30 chart singles. Along the way, he earned four Grammy nominations, three ACM awards and two CMT awards. Adkins also made his mark as a TV and film actor, a voiceover artist, an author, a social commentator and a participant on NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice." At Seneca Allegany Events Center on Sunday, Aug. 28, he will perform many of his hits as well as songs from his latest album, "Proud to Be Here," including the top 10 single "Just Fishin'."
