Steven and Elaine Hoglin of Jamestown, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kerri Lynn, to David Carl Ahlbin, the son of Daniel and Melody Ahlbin of Jamestown, N.Y.
Miss Hoglin is a 2003 graduate of Maple Grove High School, and a 2010 graduate of Empire State College, where she earned her bachelor's degree in community and human services. She is employed at Chautauqua Eye Care. Her fiance is a 2004 graduate of Jamestown High School, and a 2008 graduate of Fredonia State College where he earned his bachelor's degree in secondary education with a concentration in history. He is employed as a history teacher at Bethel Baptist Christian Academy.
A Oct. 26, 2012, wedding is planned in Jamestown, N.Y.
