Tom and Caryl Bergstue of Jamestown, N.Y. ,announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin, to Evan Oakes, the son of Kevin and Beth Oakes of Sinclairville, N.Y. Miss Bergstue is also the granddaughter of Ruth Serrano and Annette Bergstue, both of Jamestown, N.Y. Her fiance is the grandson of Helen Follette and Sue Oakes, both of Sinclairville, N.Y.
Miss Bergstue is a graduate of Southwestern Central High School, Jamestown Community College and is pursuing her degree in childhood and special education from the State University at Geneseo. Her fiance is a graduate of Cassadaga Valley High School and attended Jamestown Community College. He is employed as an assistant supervisor at Fancher Chair of Falconer.
A December 2012 wedding is planned.
