Gregory Pattison will spend the next 31 years in prison for two counts of first-degree manslaughter, but that didn't keep him from getting into more trouble at the Chautauqua County Jail on Friday.
Pattison, 41, will face new second-degree assault charges for allegedly attacking another inmate while being held at the Mayville site Friday at 7:20 a.m. The assault resulted in the inmate receiving facial injuries in addition to bruising and swelling of the facial and head area.
Pattison will appear in Town of Chautauqua Court at a later date.
