Two Jamestown men are the latest to face narcotics-related charges after investigations involving the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the Jamestown Police Department. These latest charges come in the wake of a string of drug investigations and arrests within the last month.
Adrianel Rivera-Rodriguez Jr, 33, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on Friday.
According to a police report, Rivera-Rodriguez was located and arrested by the Jamestown Police Department on Friday. At the time of the arrest, it was determined that there was an outstanding Chautauqua County court grand jury indictment warrant for the above charges.

The warrant stemmed from an investigation by members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. It is alleged by members of the task force that Rivera-Rodriguez sold quantities of cocaine to an agent of the task force in the town of Ellicott.
After arraignment on other local warrants, Rivera-Rodriguez was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail where he will be held until his arraignment before the county court.
Ryan J. Stills, 26, of Jamestown, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Drug investigators from the JPD were assisting New York State Parole officers at a residence on Jefferson Street when Investigators found Stills to be in possession of 46 grams (1.65 ounces) of crack cocaine. He was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where he is awaiting arraignment on the charge.
Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance are both class B felonies in New York state. According to New York State penal law, the subjects could face imprisonment for 1 to 9 years if it is a first offense or longer sentences if they are repeat offenders or have previously been convicted of a violent felony.
The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force is comprised of officers from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office and the City of Dunkirk Police Department.
