Patricia J. Stelmack, 63, of Fredonia, died Sunday evening, June 24, 2012, at UPMC Hamot Hospital, following a battle with cancer.
She was born Jan. 2, 1949, in Dunkirk, the daughter of Edward and Betty (Jarvis) Brisky of Fredonia.
She was a retired employee of National Fuel in Dunkirk, and at one time an employee of the former AJ Wahl in Brocton.

Her memberships include Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hedwig, the Kosciuszko Polish Home, Sheridan Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Cassadaga Legion Auxiliary, Beaver Club, Moose Club, Dom Polski Club, and was also a die-hard Bills fan and member of the Buffalo Bills Booster Club.
An outdoors person, Pat enjoyed playing golf, and most of all her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 43 years, James D. Stelmack, whom she married July 6, 1968; sons: James C. (Elizabeth) Stelmack of Dunkirk, and Joshua R. (Tenniel) Stelmack of Frewsburg; grandchildren: Lauren, Meredith, Kole and Braelyn; a brother, Edward J. (Margaret) Brisky of Arkwright; and along with several nieces and nephews.
Preceded by a sister, Elizabeth "Bunny" Stelmack.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty St., Dunkirk on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 a.m. in Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hedwig and interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
