The Rev. MK Gaedeke Roland will be the speaker today at the City of Light Spiritualist Church.
Roland said she has been guided by spirit from an early age as a healer and a medium for people and animals. Her gift for animal communication came at a young age. As a child she cared for every ill and injured animals she found, and then followed her healing gifts into adulthood by becoming a pediatric and adult nurse practitioner, as well as a Reiki master.
She developed her mediumship and spiritual healing gifts at the Trilogy Institute in Lily Dale under the tutelage of mediums such as Judith Rochester and Janet Nohaec, and at the Arthur Findlay College in Stansted, England.

The City of Light Spiritualist Church holds services the last Sunday of the month May through October. The healing service is from 4 to 4:30 p.m. and the lecture is at 4:30 p.m. followed by fellowship at a restaurant to be determined. The City of Light Spiritualist Church is located inside the Universal Unity of Spirit Building, 89 N. Main St., Route 60, Cassadaga. Services are open to the public.
